Product Description
About [EKS]
[EKS] is a fiber that excels in moisture absorption and heat dispersal. The fiber absorbs what is referred to as "insensible perspiration" to keep the body dry and comfortable. This insensible perspiration is invisible because it is in the form of vapor. However, the [EKS] fiber also converts the kinetic energy of the absorbed water vapor into heat energy to maintain a comfortably warm temperature inside the garment even in a cold winter environment.
Features:
• Moisture discharge
• Heat generation
• Absorbs much more moisture than other fibers
• Creates a microclimate
• Deodorizes - decomposes acidic and alkali odors
[EKS] Heat generating & Moisture absorption
Most of the fibers used for cold weather wear are bulky and simply insulate the wearer from the cold. They do not actually create heat.
[EKS] is a perfectly NEW fiber based on a different design concept, it actually generates heat. It also quickly absorbs water to keep you dry and comfortable.
How can [EKS] generate heat?
When you spray water on an object, the object cools because the water carries heat away as it evaporates.
[EKS] functions as a heat reserve by absorbing, or collecting the energy of perspiration vapor as adsorption heat.
[EKS] Application
Fabrics made from [EKS] are widely used in garments such as underwear, socks, sweaters, jackets, coats and many more.
